Getting Started

1. Register Your Account

Create an account using your professional email address. Your registration will be reviewed by an administrator before you gain access to the platform.

2. Wait for Approval

Once submitted, an admin will review and approve your account. You'll receive an email notification when approved.

3. Complete Your Profile

After approval, log in and complete your profile with your institution, role, and other details to help colleagues find you.

4. Start Engaging

Participate in forum discussions, share ideas, send messages to colleagues, and collaborate with the ICAA community.

Frequently Asked Questions

Register with your professional email and institutional information. An administrator will review your request and approve your account within 24-48 hours. You'll receive an email notification once approved.

Click on your name in the top navigation bar and select "Profile". Then click "Edit Profile" to update your information, upload a profile photo, and change your theme preference.

Navigate to the Forum section, select a category, and click "New Post". All posts are reviewed by our AI moderation system to ensure community standards before being published.

Our AI moderation system automatically screens all posts for inappropriate content. If flagged, your post will be reviewed by an administrator who will either approve it for publication or contact you with feedback.

Go to the Directory, find the member you want to contact, and click "Send Message". You can also access messages from the Messages link in the navigation bar.

Submit innovative ideas for improving the ICAA. Other members can upvote ideas they support. Popular ideas help guide association priorities and initiatives.

You'll receive both in-app and email notifications for important events like account approval, new messages, forum replies to your posts, and votes on your ideas. Manage your notifications from the bell icon in the navigation bar.

Yes, we use industry-standard security measures including encrypted passwords, secure session management, and protected database connections. Only approved members can access the platform.

Yes! You can switch between Light and Dark modes in your profile settings. Dark mode is easier on the eyes in low-light environments and meets accessibility standards.
